Special Event: Understanding Adoption and Suicide: Voices of Resilience and Hope

Adopted individuals are much more likely to attempt suicide than their non-adopted peers. Join the contributors of a new book, ‘Adoption and Suicidality,’ for a discussion on how adoption affects adoptees’ mental health and how we can all work to prevent suicide. The panel will include adoptees who have survived suicide attempts or chronic suicidality, as well as parents who have lost a child to suicide.
